The Selway Series- S124 bear-proof food storage locker is designed for safe and convenient food storage in campgrounds, picnic areas, and trailheads. Its ADA-compliant design is 24 cubic feet and can easily fit two large coolers inside with extra room for dry goods. Users will find the doors easy to operate, as they open wide for access, and can be easily be shut by swinging them closed. A bear-proof double point, self-latching system has been implemented on the service doors to protect your foods from furry friends. Door hinges are made from heavy-duty stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance and longevity. Each bear-proof storage locker comes powder coated for superior protection against the elements.
This Selway Series- S124 design was successfully tested by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee that is located outside of Yellowstone National Park.
